Pius are one of the smaller Phidippus species and are slow growers, so don’t expect them to size up quickly. What they lack in size, they make up for with personality, curiosity, and adorable faces. Even as adults, they stay much smaller than Regius, making them a great option for anyone who appreciates the little things.

Each of our jumping spiders is captive bred and lovingly raised until they’re ready for their forever homes. We encourage all adopters to research proper care to ensure their new companion thrives. Check out our [Care Guide] for helpful tips!

Tiny Spider Alert! These little ones are still very small and growing at their own pace. Pius are naturally slow growers, so expect them to stay tiny longer than species like Regius. They may still require fruit flies (D. melanogaster) or other small feeders for a while.
